In Matthew 9:18–26, two very different people come to Jesus with the same desperate hope: a religious leader grieving his daughter and a woman long isolated by illness and exclusion. One is respected and powerful; the other overlooked and marginalized. Yet Jesus responds to both with compassion, healing, and new life.
